Matthew Reimherr

I am a Research Scientist at Meta working in Ads, where my work focuses on causal inference, measurement, and experimentation at scale. I am also an Affiliate Professor in the Department of Statistics at Penn State University. My academic research spans functional data analysis, data privacy, anomaly detection, and transfer learning. I received my PhD in Statistics from the University of Chicago in 2013 (advisor: Dan Nicolae), and an MS in Statistics and BS in Mathematics from the University of Utah in 2008 (advisor: Lajos Horváth).
